Twokey DIY Kit

This kit does not include a Micro USB Cable.

The Twokey is a small keyboard packing quite the heft; weighing in at almost 3/4 of a pound. Its all Stainless Steel construction consists of 12GA (.109″) Top/Bottom Plates, Hex Standoffs, Screws, and Washers. The Top and Bottom Plates and are CNC Plasma Cut right in Keys of Kings’ very own shop.

The circuit board was designed by King Icewind and has many features for something its size:

• Rotary Encoder with Switch
• Support for 2 Cherry/Matias/Choc switches – Please note: Cherry Switches are only supported with the 12GA SS Plates
• LED Backlighting
• RGB Underglow
• Piezo Transducer (It can make sounds!)
• Reset Switch
• Pro Micro MCU Board

This DIY Kit is easy to assemble featuring largely through hole components with only a few SMD. The Stainless Steel Plates come deburred from Plasma Cutting and come with a brushed finish.

You can fully customize the animation, brightness, and color of the RGB Underglow. The LED Backlighting for the switches is not controllable. If you wish to change the brightness or color you will need to do so with the required components (not included).

Once flashed the Twokey is setup to control Volume (Encoder Spin), Mute, Play/Pause, and Next Song. Along with controlling RGB and Sounds.

This little Kit is great for anyone that listens to music, wants a great piece on their desk, and is looking to practice their soldering skills.
